Ductless Systems – The Advantages

What are the advantages of Ductless Systems?ductless

You will see ductless systems in many places; restaurants, office buildings, and even homes.  They are small systems placed high on the walls and can provide heat and air.  Not many people know much about these systems and what advantages they can provide.

Utility costs are continuously on the rise and ductless systems can overall save homeowners money.  Ductless systems use less energy and power.  They also provide temperature controlled air which provides no loss in efficiency.  Homeowners also can be eligible for tax credits or utility rebates for the year they install the system.

Indoor air quality is improved over outdoor air with ductless systems.  They use a multi-stage filtration which reduces dust, bacteria, pollen, allergens, and any other particulates that may be floating in the air you breathe while inside your home.  Larger systems traditionally need to be professionally cleaned and even with cleaning, not all the particles are removed from the system.

Unlike larger traditional systems which normally take a couple weeks to install, ductless systems, whether putting up one unit or multiple units in the home can be installed in one day.

Ductless systems provide better energy efficiency.  They follow Energy Star guidelines who’s guidelines are far more energy efficient than the minimum standards set forth by the U.S. federal government.  What this means is that if the overall energy is more efficient, than your carbon is also reduced.  The environment is also considered with ductless systems.
